Congratulations on your first game jam! I enjoyed it and keep going back for a higher score. My main comments would be just making it easier to notice when you have been hit and making the thin red projectiles more easy to see.
Good gameplay but I recommend having some kind of feedback for when you hit an enemy and it doesn't kill it, like a sound effect or the enemy shakes a bit. There were times where I wasn't sure if I was hitting an enemy hitbox because there was nothing telling me how I was doing
Not too bad! It's a good start to a shmup game, but I have two comments: In this genre of game it should theoretically be possible to avoid all projectiles. As your ship is quite big and the enemies seem to shoot randomly, getting shot is out of your control. Also you miss out on some browny points from me by using existing assets (that are all over the place) instead of making your own. Keep it up though, you have skills!
